Ugggghhhh

I've received several complaints/threats about the lack of posting on our blog lately which begs the question: If people want to read our blog, why are they not commenting on it? I guess I didn't think that anyone really looks at this so I was putting it off, but I've repented and I'm here to update with numerous pictures of Adalyn.
We are living in Arizona now with my parents. It is fun to be home and around family. We've been able to spend time with my siblings, my parents, my grandma, my aunt and with my cousin so that has been a really nice change. My parents have a pool and a great back yard to entertain us, but still we've been getting a little bored of the non-working summer. But, as all things do, summer is coming to an end for Tyler and he starts work in about two weeks. That's a little bit of a bummer for him because he has to commute all the way out to Peoria but at least it's against traffic.

And now, on to the pictures! We went to Utah to visit Tyler's sisters over the fourth of July and had such a fun time catching up with everyone.This is at Darby's house with her two kids, Bailey and Alex-the-first. Alex liked Adalyn at first, but then he started using her as a scape-goat. His favorite phrase (even now that we have been gone for over a week) was, "Addy take it!"
We went to dinner with my old roommate Oriah. It was fun to see her and catch up. Adalyn had so much fun with her cousins. Below she is playing cars with Carter and Trevor. It was funny how much she enjoyed them, the cars and the boys!
This is Addy's 4th of July outfit. She looked so cute and festive. I wish I could say the same about me! It's way more fun buying theme clothes for kids!
Here we are watching the amazing fireworks show courtesy of our brother-in-law Jarod. Addy wasn't fond of the loud ones, but she had a good time over all. We also went to visit another old roommate of mine, Cari. This picture isn't great of our kids, but you can see how cute Cari is at least!We went camping for a few days on Timpanogos Mountain. Tani and her family came with us. We had so much fun! It was so nice to get away- we had been wanting to camp for the past few years but refused to in Texas. Once you've seen the best there's just no competition.One day Tani watched Addy and Tyler and I took her kids to the Timp caves. It was awesome to see all of the formations, we had never been there before. This is our campsite- gorgeous!!!!!! I miss it already! It was heaven for Adalyn. Being outside all the time and being held for a good portion of that! What's not to love?
