Little Monster

Adalyn is 15 mo. today so I thought for journaling purposes I would document some of her triumphs. She is extremely disobedient and talks non-stop. She all but laughs at me when I tell her not to do something, then she runs to go do it. Maybe I'm making it sound a little worse than it is- after all, I've been told she is "just like her mom." Typical.

Her speech is limited to the following words: Mom (and all variations therein), Dad (same), Doggie, Puppy, No (I should have put this one first), Yes (more frequently 'ya'), Nonnie, Shoe, I love you (pronounced 'lub' or 'la-lu'), nice (pronounced 'ni'), Baby, Out, Boo!, Nose, Eye, Water, about 10 alphabet letters (non-sequential) including 'q' and 'y' and a whole lot more NO's!Addy likes to 'read' books outloud while pointing violently at the pictures. She loves playing outside and being free to walk (or run) wherever she may choose. Another favorite pastime of Adalyn's is hitting unsuspecting babies, toddlers and even the occasional adult. But don't worry, it's all in good fun, at least she laughs. She also likes to help out with whatever we are doing. Often we will have her pass a piece of paper or something like it back and forth between Tyler and I to keep her occupied.
She is so much fun, despite how I make it sound! She really is a little fireball!! I love that I can stay home with her and spend all that time with my little monster. In other news, our house has been inspected and everything looks pretty good. We still don't have a closing date, but I think it's all going to work out (fingers crossed!) This picture is the entrance into our subdivision.

You decided to be my friend!! hehe. I am glad we hung out. I was getting a little insecure about you not getting my blog comment. But, Now I know all is well. If I knew you were so close, we'd have hung out sooner! Your daughter is adorable. She didn't seem disobedient to me, just normal! Sydney was the same way at that age.

I had so much fun today hanging out with you and Addy. What a little cutie. I can't believe she can say so many words. Sienna says a few words but not nearly that many, and most importantly NOT mama. tear.
I hope we can hang out again while I am here. Maybe we can hit that date we were talking about. I will call you.
