Addy did well as a vicious shark for Halloween. She went to two Trunk-or-treats and a high school Homecoming game at Tyler's school. The first Trunk-or-treat was at our church building the Saturday before Halloween. It was a little late and she hadn't had a good nap that day so she was VERY tired the whole time. For a period of about five minutes she just sat in the rocks with a glazed over look.
My sister's family and my brother's family came over so we could all trick-or-treat together. It was fun to see all the kids dressed up together.
As soon as Addy was buckled in she fell asleep. Poor thing.
The second one was on Halloween night and it was at my sibling's church building. Adalyn was much more lively this time and we had so much fun watching her prance around and look at all the games. Here she is with her Aunt Natalie and her cousins Mabel and Ethan.
At least she enjoyed the cuisine of the night....hot dogs.
After that we went to the Homecoming game at the high school where Tyler teaches. It was fun to see the Homecoming Queen and King get crowned. The King is an autistic boy who plays on Tyler's bowling team (Tyler is the sponsor.) It was so sweet to see how excited he was and how everyone pulled together to make his 'biggest dream,' as he put it, come true. By the time we got home it was too late for any trick-or-treaters to be out so we just turned in for the night.
I finally took some pictures of the aprons I made at my class a few Fridays ago. The blue one was my example one and the other two my mom and I made the night of the class.
