Not a Baby Anymore...

My little baby is two! Holy Cow, I can hardly believe it! Addy is so smart and is such a funny kid. I love having her around and being able to spend so much time with her. She is such a little smarty pants, but apparently she is the spitting image (personality wise) of me when I was her age. Ahhh, karma. I'll show you the birthday pictures at the end of the post but first.....our summer vacation.

This wasn't on the vacation, but I thought it was funny how she stacked up all her bananas and then was so proud of it.
We went to Utah and to Washington for a family reunion. It was so fun to see all of Tyler's family and be able to spend some time with them. Adalyn loved being around so many cousins! We stayed at Darby and Richard's house and Bailey, their oldest, took very good care of Addy. She went swimming with her, played with her, and...she dressed her up like a princess...several times.
In Washington, Tyler's oldest brother, Jeff, was in charge of the reunion and he did a great job. Here is Tyler and Addy with Tyler's Grandpa.
Addy loved (and still asks about) Camry. Hopefully she'll like her sister just as much.

Birthday Party Time!!!!!

We took Addy to Chuck E. Cheeses for her birthday party. I made cake pops (which were delicious!) but they didn't turn out as cute as Bakerellea's. Addy LOVES CEC with the fire of a thousand two-year-olds. She has been telling everyone about the party ever since, i.e. the doctor, people in restaurants, random strangers, etc. Here she is dancing "with" CEC.

• She has been speaking in full sentences for a while now, but they are starting to get funny...and occasionally sassy.
• She attempts going to the bathroom on the toilet, but it's off and on still.
• She sings ALL THE TIME and knows several songs in their entirety such as I am a Child of God, Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam, I Love to See the Temple, Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and a bunch more.
  
• She is still a pretty good eater and no longer uses her highchair.
• She says the funniest things. Just this morning: Addy: Mom, what's this? Me: That's Daddy's tie. A: Oh, his tie? M: Yep. A: Watch, Mom- it's a seatbelt! (she puts it around her waist) M: Wow! Good Job! A: Yeah, I'm a good girl. Tonight at dinner this was her prayer, "Heavenly Father, thankful for this day, thankful for famie (family), thankful for food, thankful for Addy's food, thankful for Mommy's food, thankful for Daddy's food, thankful for napkin, thankful for dip, thankful for forks, thankful for water. Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
  
• She is a rambunctious little girl- she loves jewelry and princesses and dressing up in heels but she also loves climbing and running around and getting dirty.
• She is such a fun, smart little monster and I just LOVE being her mom! Happy Birthday Adalyn!!!!
