Our Growing Family

So I thought it was funny when Addy started having an imaginary friend...well it began with her talking to the Wiggles at breakfast when the weren't even on TV, but then she developed her own friend, Koa. He's one and two (don't ask, that's just what she says when I ask how old he is.) I don't know where the name came from but I thought it was creative. It was even funnier when she brought another one to the table about a month ago, To-tee. But now there are three regulars and several that come in and out of our lives. The third is the only girl and the only one with a real name, Kayla. The other day I was trying to test Addy's knowledge on what a family is and I asked her who was in our family. This was her reply, "Mommy, Addy, Brynlee, Koa, To-tee, Kayla......and.....Daddy!" A few things struck me as funny. One, that we had three children I never counted, and two, that Tyler was almost forgotten!

Is it just my kid or do others have such active imaginations? On an unrelated note: Tyler and I have a new favorite show. It's called Shark Tank and I highly suggest you watch it...that is, if you love America.

Skylar used to say she had a sister from "Panda" when we would ask where "Panda" was she would say "far away". On occasion she has a brother as well. Kids are so funny.

camilla doesn't have people as imaginary friends- they are usually animals- specifically a crocodile that is after her and a dog that she feeds food too (food that is dropped on the ground because guess what? there is no dog).

of course addy is a creative girl, she's your daughter!

My husband loves that show so he must love America. ;) I had an imaginary friend as a child. I still get made fun of for that one. Her name was "magic button." Don't even ask me why! Sydney doesn't have an imaginary friend but she has her sister. Since they are so close in age, I assume she doesn't need one right now! Haha. Your girls are beautiful. Love the updates!

Allison! Glad to see you guys are doing well. Your girls are so cute. Brynn has such dark hair! I love it. How is it being a two kid mama? We are expecting another little girl too, so I guess it won't be long before I find out for myself!

Addison has imaginary friends too. Once in a while her "ten kids" follow us around. We were at the store and a lady came around the corner into the aisle we were in. Ad yelled "OH NO!" and ran over to me all upset. I asked her what was the matter and she said, "That lady stepped on one of my kids!"
