Those who don't live near us may have not heard of my obsession for Dave Ramsey. I love him. He is a wonderful person with so many fabulous ideas. I realize some of you may not know Dave so let me explain. For work I have to travel around Houston. My longest commute can be about an hour and a half, depending on when I have to be there. Because of all this time in the car I have taken to listening to talk radio, something I used to get mad at Tyler for because it was SO boring. No more, however. I have been changed. I have become interested, aware and Hannitized. One of my favorite shows is The Dave Ramsey Show (12-2pm M-F, 950 KPRC). The whole show is financial advice with the mentality that cash is king, debt is done and the paid off home mortgage has taken the place of the BMW as the status symbol of choice! He gives people financial advice on how to get out of debt, stay out of debt, and save for the future. He is brilliant! Tyler got his latest book, The Total Money Makeover, for me about a week ago and so far we love it! We are proud of the place we at right now- with very little debt minus the house, but we are so excited to live on an even tighter budget so that we can pay off our house a little sooner.
Well, I encourage all of you to take a listen to Dave, you won't regret it! And I welcome any comments making fun of me for listening to Talk Radio- you can't bring me down, Sucka's!

With the number of CD's you have I can't picture you needing or wanting to listen to talk radio....but hey, whatever gets your motor runnin'.
Chris and I listen to talk radio all the time. I'll have to tune into Dave sometime and see what he's got to say. Yay for a new post!
talk radio i don't have a problem with it's an old picture that rubs me the wrong way, we want to see the growing belly!!!! Come on now!! Let us SEE!!

Allison, I wish we could be neighbor friends, but it doesnt look like we will be making our way down south!! I have to admit, I am a bit sad, but we have to do what feels right, and that right now, is staying in Utah. But, we can still be friends, right??
oh phew....I am so glad that we can still be friends.,....from a distance. Yes, we are so excited about this exciting news, and look forward to this new adventure!!!
