I've done a lot of car-stuffing lately- and I have the pictures to document it! First, word got around our church that Costco was having a sale on food storage buckets. Tyler and I got one (it is a three month supply for one person) when we were in Utah but it took us a while because we had to save for it. Then when we moved to Texas we saw that they had them at the Costco here, too- yea! So we saved again and bought another one. They were about $110 each. Anyways, apparently Costco wanted to get rid of them so they were selling them for $49.95! I was so excited I almost peed my pants (which is becoming a more common
occurrence now that the baby is getting bigger.) So I called another girl at our church who wanted to go but didn't have a Costco membership and we headed down there. While we were getting a flatbed cart we saw another lady from our church who was signing up for a membership so that she could get the buckets, too! We called everyone in our cell phone books to see if anyone else wanted some while we were there. They did. Another lady I called was just pulling up to Costco so I ran out to the front to get her because she didn't have a membership either. When we finally made it up to the check out, my friend Kari and I had about 15 buckets on our cart and the other lady had about 8 or 10 on hers. We got the funniest looks from people! One lady asked what we were buying and when we told her she said, " you live out in the country or somethin'?" I said no- we just like to be prepared. Luckily hurricane season starts in two weeks so they didn't think we were
as crazy as they normally would. We checked out and got them all into Kari's car but then while we were filling up on gas, someone else called and wanted 6 more! So we went back into Costco to get the extras. The Costco sample people were all staring at us because by this time we had gone back and forth quite a few times and they obviously recognized us. We somehow managed to stuff them all in Kari's poor, weighed down car and made it home.

Then Tyler and I went to pick up our crib, well- Adalyn's crib, I guess. The boxes (for the crib and dressers) were huge and wouldn't fit in either of our cars so we had to borrow a friend's truck. We got all the boxes in the bed of the truck and tied them down as best as we could. The drive home was a stressful one. I kept thinking the crib box was going to fall and hit the side of the truck, then it began raining- it was a mess. But we finally made it home safe and sound and set up our beautiful new crib.

The new crib all set up and ready (except for the bedding) for a baby! The room needs some work still, but you get the idea!

I don't even think they carry them. No need, nothing ever goes wrong in Cali :) Anyway--I need to call you back. Promise to here in the next day or two! Loves!
