Whew! Just when we thought that God had changed his mind about this whole never flooding the earth again thing, we caught a break. In fact the weather is starting to resemble season we once knew...Summer. Anyhow, this little spurt of sunshine has allowed us to visit the neighborhood swimming pool a time or two and we've got the pictures to prove it.
On a side note, we are looking forward to a short visit this week from a friend, and old roommate of mine, Dan Davis. It is nice to have company out here and to see familiar faces every now and then. So while he's here, we are probably going to make a little road trip to New Orleans or to the beach in South Padre. If so, we'll definitely have something to post then.
Also, we've reached that part of Allison's pregnancy where she gets to see the doctor every week. Other than the guaranteed minimum two hour wait and $5 parking fee each time, it's actually a pretty exciting time for us. Now, if I could just get Allison to stop making me feel guilty for leaving town in three weeks.
