We just got back from a little weekend vacation to South Padre Island and we had so much fun! Tyler's old roommate Dan is down here visiting us so we wanted to take him somewhere different and I have an old roommate, Amber, who lives in McAllen- close to the island, so we stayed with her and her family. It was so fun to see them and to meet their cute little baby Camilla, who looks exactly like her dad! Here are some pics of the trip!
We found some seashells while we were swimming about 30 ft. out in the water. There was a huge band of them, huge ones, all sitting together! I was so excited about them that the boys kept scooping up more and more for me! Here is what we came home with.

I love seashells too, I'm so glad you kept them. So is the ocean water pretty warm down there? I'm definitely hoping to make it to Texas some day.

Allison,
We had a lot of fun with you guys here too. I'm glad you posted pictures as you can see I haven't yet. Oh and Ryan wanted to remind you that you forgot to mention the Mexican restaurant and the mariachi band oh and the man in the santa clause outfit who wanted us all to know a Texas senator tried to kill him.
Oh and I LOVE the seashells. I think I am goign to make Ryan go get some for me this weekend...or maybe Tyler and Dan would like to come back and get some more?? :)
Looks like fun stuff. Blake has a serious fetish with penguins (ever since he was little I guess?). I'll have to tell him about those sheets!
