Almost 8 Months

Since I haven't been doing very well at keeping track of when Adalyn does what, I thought I would recap. First, her eyes are still blue- just FYI, that's not really an accomplishment. She began hitting her hands together in an organized fashion at about 5mo. Actual clapping was around 7mo. Then came the wave, which you have all seen at about 6mo. She clicked her tongue and did a raspberry at 7mo and sat up on her own at about 7 1/2mo. This video also gives you a small taste of her very non-lady-like grunting.

She's wearing Collin's onesie here because hers was the victim of a blowout. Thanks, Collin-you've always got my back.

Oh, and she also does a little model pose on her side; legs crossed, hand on hip, body on her side. It's awesome. But she's very coy about it and I can never get a picture straight on, so this is the best one I have. She sucks on the washcloth (her new favorite thing to do) in the bath tub, and enjoys Zwieback toast if I'm up for a really good mess. She's put her bink in since about 5mo, consistently at 6mo, but she still puts it in upside-down sometimes. Just the past week or so Addy has been getting some really bad bed-head due to her sleeping sideways in her crib. Below is during conference this weekend after she woke up from her nap. Bed-head and an upside-down bink- the works! Tyler likes to call it sucking the bink "goofy-style."
